  • Vidura, the Pandavas uncle, helps them figure out Duryodhana's evil plot and they escape their death. However, Duryodhana thinks they actually died.
  • The Pandavas hide in the wilderness and Bhima meets a femal rakshasa who loves him. He defeats her evil brother and they wed and have a son.
  • Draupadi is the beautiful daughter of Drupada. The king has a swayamwara to find a husband for her. Duryodhana and his brothers are there as well as Karna. 
    • Karna tries to win her but Draupadi is against marrying him since he is low-born so Arjuna wins her.
  • All 5 Pandavas have to share Draupadi due to a previous declaration so Drupada and Krishna give them gifts.
  • Yudhishthira receives his own kingdom to rule which he does well. 
  • The Pandavas make a pact that when one of them is with Draupadi none of the others can enter. Arjuna breaks this and has to go into exile for 12 year.
  • Arjuna meets Ulupi and they have a child, Iravat.
  • Arjuna meets Chitra who he also had a child with. 
  • Arjuna marries Subhadra, Krishna's sister, and basically steals her from Duryodhana. 
    • They have a boy named Abhimmayu
  • Mayasura, the architect of heaven, builds the Pandavas a grand palace which makes Duryodhana even more jealous.
  • Yudhishthira wants to become the supreme monarch but they have to defeat the undefeatable king, Jarasandha.
    • Krishna, Arjuna, and Bhima go to Jarasandha and defeat him with cunning and Yudhishthira becomes the supreme monarch.
  • Yudhishthira has a gambling match against Duryodhana and loses everything including his brothers and Draupadi.
  • Then Draupadi gets them their freedom back, but Yudhishthira loses another dice game and they go into exile for 12 years.

I enjoy hearing poetry and art in languages I am not familiar with. To me it sounds much better in the language it was originally made in. If Omar Khayam's poetry was in English the flow of the words would not be correct. To me, I believe that everything should be heard in its original prose.       Hi everyone! My name is Rohit Thomas and I am a junior studying Microbiology on the pre-med track. I want to become an anesthesiologist and work in the operating room. I love my major because it is so interesting to learn about the world around us and organisms that are inside of us. When I am not studying I like to go hiking, watch Netflix, listen to music, and sometimes even try to produce beats. I listen to a lot of different types of music from 70s classic rock to Travis Scott and EDM. Recently, I have even started listening to British rap. My favorite things to watch on Netflix are shows with a lot of drama and action, and one of my favorite shows that fits this criteria is Mad Men.
